Only good level for me. There were dashes of it in the dragon room and the forest or whatever, but they were short and repetitive with the backtracking and all. Hell was pure kino.

I beat the game on hard normal ending. Unstoppable (beating ballos with no health upgrades) and S rank boss rush and S rank sanctuary filtered me.

I think the spikes damage is low enough that you can survive a hit, you also have 8 HP in hard mode hell because Nicalis' dumbasses forgot to remove the one health capsule that is obtained during in a scripted event.

I was able to beat Hell and Ballos consistently without dying, mind you that was almost 20 years ago. I've always been terrible at video games though, just goes to show this board is full of casuals.
