PC gamers, what keyboards are you using?

I've been looking for something good, and quiet. And the best looking one I've found so far is this Logitech G915 X. But for 250$ it doesn't seem worth it.
Anonymous No.717197678
it doesn't matter you can just make your keyboard quieter
after like two weeks of owning a keyboard it fills up with just enough crumbs to make it quiet and the keys are less sensitive which is good for gameplay

Cherry with brown switches. I've used a few mechanical keyboards so far and right before this one I had a corsair with blue switches, but it was too loud and after a few months the T button wasn't working (even after changing the keycap). So I just decided to change to a quieter option and brown switches are supposedly the way to go if you still want to keep the tactile feel.

I think it does it's job, so far no real complaints except I wish it was more elevated. There's no traditional kick stands on the back, just 2 screws that sort of prop them up but not by much

Bought it for $81 but that was during the Prime day sales, right now its like twice as much

Wooting.
https://wooting.io/

High quality components, high quality aftermarket care.
Good configurability including fully customizing LED lighting for various use cases while gaming.
Switches are mechanical and also analogue - which enables some neat stuff, like emulating a game controller analogue stick with full range of motion control.

Their boards actually can switch into a game controller mode, where your custom key mapping is used to create a DirectInput/XInput compatible game controller. A real one; at the hardware / low-level driver level. So no screwing about with 3rd party programs or interference from e.g. Steam injecting SteamInput and screwing with high-level filter driver based controller emulators.

Get a board with a modular circuit board so you can slot in your own switches. Even if you don't like the feel of your keyboard, you can buy different switches to whatever feel you want. You can even change your mind in a year and not have to buy a completely new keyboard. If a key stop working, remove the switch and replace it by pushing it into the board instead of having to mess with solder or getting a replacement board sent out to you from the manufacturer.

I have one of the keychron Q series keyboards (at least I think it was one of the Q series) with Boba U4T switches. Good keyboards seem expensive but when you realize that it's either that or dealing with the DOGSHIT gayman software from Corsair, Razer, etc it's worth it. Don't spend more than 100 bucks on a pre-made, for 250 you can get something custom or semi custom that will last a fuck of a long time. That's the worst part. Now full keyboards are starting to cost more if it already has a 50% or 75% counterpart. They cut the price of the 75% version by like 15-20%, but increase the price of the full version by 40-50%.

Good keyboards are always worth it. I'm using a Sat 75X from cannon keys right now with gateron oil black linear switches for most of the keys and holy panda tactiles for WASD. The gaming experience and sounds are an otherworldly degree of satisfying bro.

Well worth the cost of entry IMO. I do miss having a numpad for work tasks, though.
