Eclessia is overrated just for waifu reasons
Dissonance is properly rated, fuck you it's not that good. It has a great OST and sprite work, a LOT of bosses and Maxim mode is fun, but said bosses are easy as fuck, and the overall gameplay is uninspired (the elemental book system is weak af)
Plus the Dracula fight is shit

The music in HoD is fucking awful and it ruins the whole experience. The back tracking is blatantly just wasting as much of your time as it can.
Simons Quest is actually a good game. It has problems, but for the platform its on, its a good game.
OoE is horrifically overrated though. No idea why everyone sucks off that game.

Nah. I think it's genuinely somewhat shit. The level design and combat are just boring. A better translation takes out some of the tedium, but it doesn't make figuring out where to go or what to do especially fun. It's less arcane but still boring. Zelda II and Faxanadu (to name just two) are much better games on the NES tackling similar things.
