OG silent hill games are the creepiest games in existence easily. No other games leave me with the same depressing/anxious sensation after each session. The imagery, the sound design, constantly pulling the rug underneath you... everything is just on point to make you dread going into a new room.

I think its reputstion is perfectly warranted.
