1st of all you have feminists who complain about this kind of trope and how it "objectifies women." ironically, the femme fatale trope depicts a woman with agency, but because she uses her body to get what she wants, feminists hate it. the idea that a woman could have nefarious, selfish intentions is unacceptable. also feminists don't like attractive female characters because of intrasexual competitions.
2nd of all many gamers (especially coomer whales) don't want actually interesting female characters. they just want sexdolls (i.e. eve from stellar blade).
