just read dustloop for your character but you MIGHT also need to know what other characters do if you want to abuse their weakness's and see what their gameplan is to avoid them getting their win condition...

Start working on one thing at a time. This game has replay takeover so if there's something giving you trouble you (aka blocking) you can replay that part out and evolve from there. This is just one tip, there's a bunch of shit out there to improve upon.
and the most important thing of all, actually play the game. Some people naturally pick it up faster than others but eventually you'll get "it" or die trying.
