Is mouse polling rate the biggest snake oil in gaming?
I just got an Endgame Gear 8K mouse, and I've played around with the polling rate in the app, and there is literally no difference for me going between 125 Hz and 8,000 Hz.
I feel ripped off.

I can only see when jumping from 125hz to 1000hz but nothing beyond that. U can definitely measure it though. Maybe we have a similar gene mutation that makes some people think 60fps is smooth (console kids)

Instead of brute-forcing more samples, it would be better to just use a multiple of 60.
The USB spec was a mistake.
