Socialism is government involvement in business and does currently exist in the games industry through public grants to publishers to "create art". The government uses these grants to pick and choose winners and losers by giving them unfair advantages and it allows those companies to hire up talent to create garbage nobody wants. France and Canada are terrible for it for example and it's why we get terrible, overpriced walking simulators and ubisoft has been notorious for abusing these grants to prop up their slop business. Without these grants Ubisoft would not have had an unfair advantage and hired up so much talent choking out other studios and there would have been more competition in the industry driving down prices and raising the quality of games.
