The requirement for "more powerful graphics" cards in the last few years is solely devs being shit. some of the games that require the framegen tech to function barely look better or just straight up look worse than their predecessors that don't.

I paid 300 for one of these back in 2014 and used it myself until 2023, it's still chugging away in my daughter's PC like a fucking champ

i had a gtx660 last from 2013 to 2019. I realized i needed to upgrade when i had to play metro exodus in 720p maximum low settings. lmao
