Try out some multiplayer visual novels.

theres more cheaters out there than most people understand. Also sbmm is making people schizo and also making them feel extremely inadequate, which is the goal to create incentive to buy content.

I wanted to find out myself how many hackers were in tarkov so I bought some off skycheats and literally every single game has them. I dont play tarkov anymore, but there was a recent patch wipe and decided to check it out. My EOD account still isnt banned but the game is still fucking terrible.

also you can literally already by cheats for bf6 and its not even out yet.

The industry is rigged against the gamer

If you're working an actual job you will never have time to master any multiplayer game but the easiest most basic ones, too many morbidly obese neet sweats.

You need to find competitive games with a lot of casuals or with a lower skill ceiling. I don't know any though.
You could also play non-competitive multiplayer games like runescape
As for fighters, there are rankings for a reason. If you keep climbing you will eventually reach a level where you are getting fucked. This is true for literally everyone except the no.1 evo winners. Nothing wrong with playing against players on your skill level and having fun.

I'm so bad at fighting games that it transcends rank. I consistently lose to players with 0 wins.

You need to put time in to be good. You can't expect to beat anyone who does if you don't. It's like an investment into infinite replayability. You don't have to put time into single-player games, but they end eventually. Roguelikes are the only exception, but even in those you have to dedicate time to getting better to win consistently. If that's not worth your time than multiplayer games and roguelikes are simply not for you, so don't complain about being unable to get into them.

>play pve game with friends
>two of them use hyper optimized online guide for maximum overpowered dps
>100-400k dps compared to regular & unbuffed players who do 10-20k

I hate lootershooters
such interesting concepts ruined with total horseshit number autism instead of a proper balance

You probably don't enjoy fighting games enough to learn them at all then.
Tekken 8 has a "special style" system where you just press one of the four buttons and the character does good moves and continues on into combos, all automatically. With this you can win at low ranks without learning inputs and just having fun with the timing of the button presses and movement.

Sounds like you need to resign from PVP. I've done that 10 years ago.

I got my spirit broken by a 7 or 8 year old back in the days of competitive Halo 2. A local mall had tournaments and me and my friends would kick ass and always snag the prize money but some literal child was just a bit faster, more accurate and beat me. I can't remember his name or in game tag he used but he became a pro Halo 2 player and I saw articles about him in an old Game Informer or EGM magazine a decade later and felt justified in losing but I lost the fire in me at that point.

Cheaters, idiot team mates and imbalances killed my interest in any type of PVP long ago. Trying to play Rocket League but brain dead, ball chasing, couldn't defend to save their own lives team mates annoy the fuck out of me.

I will never forgive the Chinese and Russians for accelerating cheat development and proliferation far more than any one else. I wish we could go back to when the Internet was mostly Americans and some Europeans.
