yeah they weren't dragon quest. they were also WRPGs which isn't a problem. They also allow for all sorts of varied builds and replay. I want a dragon quest game but set in americana. NOT dragon warrior monsters. Dragon warrior rhythm combat is nice and all but it's a weird niche that no one but EB fills. for how many clones there are you'd think someone would have made more JRPGs set in america. Someone once said this is somewhat like earthbound
