what do you guys think of a watercolor art style for a game ? think mostly 2D assets used in a 3D world kind of game. backgrounds, watercolor. skies, watercolor. characters, watercolor. water, watercolor. think about it.

e.g. another example I did pre2020. left was my first watercolor in a long time, right was my second try w/ more water vs paint. both came out pretty good imo

with scans of the paintings. and maybe scans of separate colors that could be layered on top, or used as a texture. animation for most things would be limited to 1-3 frames. you can make some pretty cool animations from limited frames when looped right
