Call of Juarez released 4 games over 7 years of middling quality (with one, The Cartel, being a complete piece of shit), whereas Red Dead Revolver didn't get a sequel for 6 years, then that didn't get a sequel for 8 years, and both were very graphically intensive and immersive games for the time

I enjoyed CoJ Bound in Blood just fine, but to say it's the same level of quality as RDR is just make-believe

also CoJ was made by Techland, who have a habit of making games with quite poor quality, compared to RDR and RDR2 who were made by Rockstar, one of the most prolific develoipers in the industry

But CoJ kept me interested when red dead put me to sleep. I mean red dead 1 is okay but 2 is complete garbage. I was sad when gunslinger ended, I was happy when I uninstalled and refunded red dead.

Their games may be jank but they use their own engine when most other devs would shit out 20 dying light and CoJ live service unreal 5 games. Rockstar has pretty much been the raped after gta 4.

No, Call of Juarez is better because the devs actually wanted to show their love for westerns instead of trying to educate chuds.

I loved first two games as a kid/teen, I played Gunslinger few years back and didnt enjoy. Especially first game was so sick with using bow as Billy or slaughtering natives as mad priest.
