Funny you mention that, I kept eyeing that table every damn dialogue scene like it was Chekhov's gun just waiting to go off. They set it up so perfectly with those tense moments, I was sure itβd turn into some kind of bizarre pseudo-combat mechanic or an emergency escape QTE or something. But nope, just background dressing. Guess the real surprise was how much I was constantly second-guessing what kind of game it actually wanted to be.
