>>717259202>itโs got more genetic diversity than literally any other continentThere's a catch to this: If any quantify diversity across the entire human genome, then genetic diversity becomes a simple function of birth rate. IOW, "greater diversity" just means "higher birth rate", which means that if, say, India or SEAsia or Central America all of a sudden had a baby boom, those places would become "the most diverse" places, without ever having a change of population. Defining genetic diversity in this way allows leftists and Afro-centrics to argue against the prima facia definition of diversity that everyone else uses - genetic traits which result in phenotypical differences. Africa is a giant continent but the genetic diversity as commonly understood is much less than that between Swedes and Allbanians, despite the latter two living in the same timezone.
People serious about quantifying genetics go through the hassle of identifying genes which have an actual impact on phenotype and comparing those across populations, instead of the entire genome.
