People ignored portal in 2042 because the hard truth is no one cares about the "community" and user stuff until a game is past its prime. Portal is literally the exact system as every BF has had, it just doesn't feature the official servers on it as those are already dealt with quickplay which what everyone and their mom clicks on when playing these games as long as they have a population. No one used the server browser in 3 or 4 or 1 or 5 or 2042 until the games were dead. People just wan to force this idea that BF6 will be dysfunctional because its what the current grifter narrative is. EA has always had ocassional good releases, that's why people come back despite their reputation. Each of their big franchises usually has a good entry every 2-3 games.

EA has always been inconsistent with game quality. BF6 actually being great shouldn't shock anyone. I promise you the next 5 games they release after will be awful again.
