It is just a myth but I remember anon saying years ago that in some early stages of development adult chico was going to be the default character for playing co-op.

This give great possibilities, imagine a 5v5 online guerrilla warfare in Afghanistan with tanks, dogs and D-Walkers.

This should be in the PS4 version too.

The Fox engine is so smooth you could even do a 16v16 even and the maps give enough space for a long campaign.
Also FoB invasions with a friend would be cool.

It's a MYTH, just like the rumor that OKB Zero was originally going to be underground in which Skull Face would show Big Boss an entire fleet of Sahelanthropus waiting to be shipped around the world, but that was also allegedly ruled out and that's why we have the long monologue at the end with Shins of the Father playing in the background.

sprinting ruins the game
cqc feels weightless and animations are weird
gunshots that connected have that bizarre "crunch" sound
story sucks and snake says 5 lines the whole game

the combination of all these things and more makes the game feel really weird. gone is the charming semi heavy feel of 3 and 4, now snake is ussain bolt spriting around like fucking crazy throwing people around like he's superman. its just retarded.

sure 4 had a terrible amount of slideshow cutscenes and was very imbalanced with its chapters, but when it actually let you play the game it was true tactical stealth action. GZ and PP feel like shit compared to 4.

It was very stupid of them to not make this a thing in the main game. COOP would have been. As would a competitive mode that takes place on the entire map that requires you to do a series of mini missions as you also try to figure out where your opponent is and kill them
