the only somewhat decent nonFrom soulslikes are the Jedi games, and they're barely soulslikes
most soulslikes are garbages only accepted because of the recent-ish desire to put asian games on a pedestal. you could release a western soulslike game called Destiny of Caleb and it'll get shit on, then convert it into an anime artstyle and call it Suzuki of Bingbong-Chingchong and watch /v/ latch onto it like a leech to an artery
