One thing that is a big help is having good parents, as they can give you a lot of stat bonuses. For instance, as a sprinter you need about 500 stam, but if you have 2 parents with 9* stam, which is the best, you get about 400 stam from that, so you don't ever have to train stam.

So for a sprinter like Bakushin or Maruzensky, you use 4 speeds and 2 wits, which is the standard deck, use an MLB kitasan black as your guest support and your speeds will splash a lot of power as you train speed.
