I don't really care too much about intense romance content and the outright hardcore porno they put in games now, but when devs go out of the way to make a game sexless in a genre that has historically been full of gooner shit (see Fallout 2 especially) it smacks of mass appeal puritanism. It also just makes the world feel fake when the closest thing there is to a sexual tension in a game is a couple of lines of dialogue like "oh I love how you returned my family jewels adventurer, I will marry you" but only after you put on the amulet of safe horny.
Daggerfall and Morrowind both had explicit sexual content, Oblivion was utterly soulless because it was designed for a rating that would sell to ecksbawks teens, and bethsoft has been pretty tame since then. Even the FO4 romances felt weird and inhuman, probably because they were written by sexless hambeasts with pink hair.
