World 3 Re-Pac has zero chance of happening considering it was supposed to be an entirely different game that got rebranded at the very last minute, so there's that

I remember now, there was something wrong with the physics.
Spin dashing over gaps was fucked and even when doing it right you'd just die like 90% of the time because of bizarre momentum just stopping midair.

I was. I had Pac-Man World 2, and I loved it. But I also had a cheat disc called CodeBreaker that wiped all the data off of my copy of Pac-Man World 2, somehow. I didn't even know they released a remake.

I doubt it'll happen, but it would be kind of hilarious if Clyde in the Cauldera still ends up being as ball-bustingly hard as it was in the original.
Well it would be hilarious for maybe a few minutes before I start reliving all that seething I did because of him during my childhood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVnNYbQH3oM
>Repac was casualized as fuck and added a trivial flutter kick >expecting this to be any different
I get pacman autists are happy to see him back but you are 100% delusional to think anything will come of this beyond a quick cash grab. Itβs going to suck like itβs previous entry and get a ton of things wrong, but of course you donβt care. You only care about the content & looks, not the gameplay.

I was. A friend of mine who was a Vietnam vet actually owned this game and I borrowed it from him. I didn't get to finish it before giving it back so maybe I'll pick this up and finally do it.

That's because it plays it very safe with world themes, opting for the more classic (and more generic) grassland/forest/snow/volcano/water/swamp.
While the first one tried to be more creative with pirate/ruins/space/circus/factory/haunted mansion.

I'm sure the remake is going to change more, but if they can make that ledge pull-up animation not completely vile trash like it was in the original I can forgive it for whatever else it does.
It's been a minute since I played through PMW2, but I remember dying a lot because of that shit along with some shoddy physics.

I checked to see if Mangs was a piece of filth about Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac. He didn't disappoint on that by wanting a Fire Emblem 4 remake while calling "all these remakes" ReDiculous. MANGS is the one who is ReDiculous.

I lost my memory card and had to replay like the first 2 worlds over and over again till I could convince my parents to get me another one
Bad times but also good times

I'm looking forward to this mainly because I thought World 2 was frustrating as hell compared to World 1 and I'm hoping the remake alleviates some issues, mainly with collectibles.

I'm not too hot in the concept of the erasure of Ms. Pac-Man. Pac-Mom seems to be a hastily thrown together cope of an otherwise iconic character.
>>717279541 >Fix physics >Fix animation bugs >Make all bosses not named Clyde at least a little challenging >Don't change the music >Make it look nicer >Make it so collected items actually stay collected so that you don't end up with some bullshit on 100% runs like having to redo and recollect everything in a level just because you missed a pac-dot somewhere

Wrong in every level. Transferring data from an actual disc to the console is not the same as a cartridge containing zero data from the game, it is just a glorified download code.
