Fei went 50 rounds with Lu Bu with no winner, and that was Lu Bu at his peak (early 30s) while Fei was early 20s. He likely really was the best fighter of the era but his power level is clearly overblown.

That's only a story from the 14th century novel. History record version of events say his subordinate officers turned on him and opened the city gates to let Cao Cao's army in. Lü Bu considered a last stand in his remaining watchtower where he was personally, but ultimately decided to go down and surrender.

Zhang Liao is Tadakatsu Honda's 3K equivalent desu, not Lu Bu.
Stoic, noble, loyal to the bone, famous battle involves him leading the charge and not sustaining any wounds, dies outside of the battlefield after a long career, his faction ultimately wins and unites the land.

They'd have to change it so your allies don't suck and have an army just as big as the enemies though, since you'd no longer be a demi-god doing all the work. The challenge would be in the actual combat and just surviving the battle.
