Nostalgia thread

I loved this game as a kid. Looking back, the heart of darkness/apocalypse now reference with the zombies was pretty fucking dark and scary. But I loved this game. Just bought it on steam for a replay.

Nah didn't like the n64 games in this series. The vibe was a lot different.

Kino game. I had some shitty windows 95 or 98 laptop that belonged to my brother and would play the fuck out of this with the laptop nub.

I loved Army Men as a child. Nothing made me go crazy as the fantasy of little toys coming to life.

That said, barely any army men games were made that were any good, and since the 2000's they pretty much disappeared. Living toys is a very rare concept nowadays in any media, sadly. The only post-2010 Army Men games were the Mean Greens, a PVP 3rd person shooter that's dead, an old PS3/360 gen tower defense game with a terrible remaster and an optional game mode in Rising Storm 2 that no one plays anymore. Army Men is dead. Might fug around and make a simple Army Men game one day if I get the time and 3d skill.

I've been wanting to replay Air Tactics, but getting it to run on modern PCs has been a bitch. I keep hoping that GOG will rerelease it at some point, but it seems unlikely.
