I don't think this claim is supported by any evidence, it doesn't even stand up against the most minor brushes with reality. Also GTA6 will not fail, the only way it fails is if they fuck it up in some absolutely extreme way and even then it's going to sell gangbusters based on hype alone.

The duo character dynamic sounds good, and I bet there will be some kind of twist like how we could choose to kill Michael or Trevor last time.
