They have to bring Mischief Makers and Wario World to NSO sooner or later. Also didn’t they have something planned for their anniversary, what happened to that?

Fun fact: AS was a one man project for most of the time until the last months of development. A lot of stuff was ditched due to deadlines and because they tried to push the console beyond its limitations.

Pretty sure the company is now just whoever runs their twitter account congratulating people for getting new high scores in ikaruga and radiant silvergun
>>717291615
The company is now only run by the founder who just collects loyalties from re-releases of older Treasure games and modern ports of Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun, the only games they own and the only ones they produced/published themselves (everything other games of theirs belong to the respective publishers/producers).

WAIT! SHE'S FEMALE? All these years I thought that he's a bishounen. Also I don't remember this scene despite finally finished the game last year.
The Data East's overlooked gem that heavily inspired Treasure for Gunstar Heroes: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Cliffhanger:_Edward_Randy
While not a perfect game and felt kinda rushed, it was still a passion project and it's quite charming.

Look man I was gonna do a whole thing about how I was confused about gunstar red in my previous post but thought I was the only one conflicted and now nearly 20 years later I find out I wasn't the only one who thought she was male. I had my doubts on the jetbike stage where red is shown to have incredibly feminine thighs and if it wasn't for a scene where pinky calls her a "stupid girl" I would've took this to the grave

I only know any strats in that game because I watched people better at it than me playing it desu. So many missable things. The forest stage is the only one I've beat with all secret medals.
Whenever I turn on one of their games, it feels like my brain is being broken in two. No matter what, the gameplay systems are so incredibly strange. It's a really rare feeling that i really treasure.

Seems like i have another reason to replay this game. However her voice wasn't so feminine/girlish and with lots of male characters having female voice actors I just assumed that she was a girlish boy.

Another favorite company of mine. Unfortunately they were from the many Japanese companies that were doing great at 8bit and 16bit era but struggled really hard to survive at 3D games boom era. SNK was the only big Japanese company that still focused at 2D games during 32bit era. Too bad they later went bankrupt too (fortunately they quickly revived).
