Rouge-lites shouldn't be the main mode. I want most of the rogue-like games that exist to be remade as normal games with real level design and progression. And the RNG hell is just a bonus you get for beating the game.

Gatcha/mobile garbage. Basically the games that followed the farmville style of only being able to play about 25 minutes of a game at a time, so you have to check in every day to make any progress. Or you could spend stupid amounts of money to progress faster. From what I understand gatcha games aren't like this, but instead you just have to keep dumping money in to get units that are capable of clearing the next game segment. This is absolute garbage, and serves only to prey on vulnerable people who don't know better. It disgusts me that this is such a successful business now.
