Am I the only one who finds all the gameplay and maps underwhelming and boring? I'm not a big BF buff, only ever played BFV but loved the heck out of it. The maps showcased so far all seem kind of small and claustrophobic compared to that, and I don't think I'd personally enjoy the urban maps for the same reason.

They went from making bad ideas, to taking bad ideas. Every map feels like shitty old maps like Karkand and Metro, and the infantry gameplay more or less boils down to BF2 dolphin diving as soon as you see an enemy, plus sliding.

Can't wait for public opinion to swing hard again.

I'm curious to know if the broader BF community feels the same way because so far, all the comments sections and two popular BF youtubers I've seen seem to have nothing but good things to say about it. If the rest of the game is like what's been shown in the gameplay released so far then it's gonna be boring and I personally wouldn't buy it.

Youtubers are paid and will always lean towards popular opinion. I've seen this shit happen with Payday 3, it got only praises from everywhere and then the game comes out and it's dead on arrival and all the sudden those shilltubers start posting apology videos and quitting the partner programs

One of the YTers I saw at least made the caveat of mentioning that at least when it comes to bugs and other technical issues, the maps they saw in playtesting were all perfect but they were only a small portion of the rest of the game. But yeah, it's gonna be interesting to see if and how the consensus changes post-release.
