I'd say left is much more iconic, so clearly what you define as being synonymous with quality doesn't reflect the public opinion. Not that the public opinion is necessarily indicative of value by itself, since value is a matter of personal preference, but when something resonates with a lot of people, that should at least give you some pause. That maybe there's something there that you're missing. You can identify that and still recognize that it's not something that happens to resonate with you, but it's at least something to consider.
