It should be normal to play whatever game you want as soon as you find out about games and emulation
I don't get the genwar gaslighting trying to paint it as abnormal. As soon as I found an emulator, all games opened up to me. NES, SNES, even games before my generation, I can play anything, sometimes I liked a gen more but that is it.
