>>717308630Nope. Meicrackmon's deal is that after Adventure ended, and the heroes killed Apocalymon, the resident inscrutable god of balance of the Digital World called Homeostasis cleaned up by gathering all the residual remains of Apocalymon and boxing them. However, the box then underwent a sudden evolution, becoming a Digimon, Meicoomon. Homeostasis worried about the data of Apocalymon hidden within Meicoomon, and so sent the cat to the human world to pair-bond with a partner, so that ever precious friendship can keep that ultimate darkness suppressed.
It did not work.
Apocalymon's data corrupted Meicoomon, forcing it to evolve into Meicrackmon Vicious Mode, and began infecting all other digital systems, including other Digimon, driving them berserk too. Homeostasis realized the scope of the threat and factory reset the entire Digital World to purge the infection, even if that would bring back all the other evil Digimon the heroes already defeated years ago. However, this didn't work either. The OTHER inscrutable god of the Digital World, Yggdrasil, the master server, had decided that the human world was too much of a threat to the Digital World and needed to go, and so recruited the other evil Digimon into restoring Meicoomon's memories, turning her back into Meicrackmon Vicious Mode and restarting the infection again.
The protagonist then fell in a fissure in the ground, causing his retarded younger sister to undergo an aneurysm because he wasn't in her line of sight anymore (nobody else thought for a second he died, and he was indeed fine), forcing her own cat partner to dark evolve into Ophanimon Falldown Mode. Ophanimon and Meicrackmon fused together into Ordinemon, a giant naked lady whose existence erodes reality.
They (somehow) got the good cat out of the fusion (but Ordinemon remained), and then executed Ordinemon, killing Meicoomon/Meicrackmon for good. Tri was not a good story.
