Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song does have weird cults and even vampires. Joseph's hamon powers would actually be pretty relevant and he'd make a good Martial Artist too

So now he can use Hermit Purple to see the entire contents of floor, making finding useful items and stairs easier while avoiding all danger. Will probably still need to use weapons and shields without a offensive stand, but HP can lay some traps for the monsters. Pretty much an easy mode.

Barely a game, but I only now played Steins Gate. I imagine Joseph's dramatic flair would fit into the same niche as Okabe's larping. Most monsters can't be communicated with so Joseph wouldn't be able to negotiate with them and trick them as he would usually do. He would be able to come up with smart ways to use the items to save his ass, but that is something that Shiren/The player can already do. Maybe some monsters could be defeated with Hamon easily. Would be cool if he could beat up night monsters with his hands.

Sure, but again that is something that Shiren can already do so it wouldn't be special for Joseph, although he would be good at it.

Good point, I had forgotten all the extraneous applications Hamon has, I guess Joseph could do some wacky stuff like walk on water but it's arguable if Joseph has mastered all possible techniques.

Launching Soul Edge into space is a much more permanent way of dealing with it than just shattering it and then having it reform over and over.

But that'll make Elysium a pretty significant problem in the next game. Sophitia is the only person in history to destroy one of the swords without using the other, but if Elysium is appearing without a timeskip, she's probably using Sophitia as a host.
