having him vs him quitting and getting 50% more runes and lower enemy hp is such a win choice, its better for birds to disconnect than play the game

It's a unique boss fight in the game, regular melee onlys constantly complain about being able to do absolutely nothing in his OG fight. Now they can do something.

Also bird is fine he's a character that's good at helping new players since he'll always bring them back and survive long enough to do so.

I like Maris because you have to be classes other than what every boring motherfucker picks, IE wylder and raider. So bored of always seeing them in teams. Revenant, Guardian, and Duchess are the best team to take Maris on simply because their ults are all that matter in that fight.

Maris is the best stormruler fight From has made, it feels like his moveset is actually designed around the weapon and you're not just out-jaking the AI to get a charged attack off in-between combos.

The fight is only bad if both of your teammates never played DS3 and don’t know what to do. You can’t appreciate the spectacle when you have two deadweights.

Wylder and Raider are both fantastic for the fight though. Only Iron Eye’s abilities are kinda pointless for it, you can’t mark the thing or hit it with your ult. You can use the skill for iframes but that’s it.

i think people say hes weak because he isnt weak but rather outclassed
hes cool, but other characters can pull much more weight when they have a bad team, are much more ideal for solo, and are just less likely to let you down. guardian is more consistently reliable when with a good team but even then its a bit debatable

if every class was on his level the game would probably have been harder to the point either enemies get nerfed or characters get buffed out of criticism

I rather beat centaur again than a jelly, he's more fun. Augur is just midly annoying.

The issue with the bird is that they forgot he exists when they designed the bosses as they all have unblockable AOE nukes that bypass shields.

They should bake in some extra aggro generation into his skill, and bam, he's fixed. His skill becomes useful against bosses, and his main issue of not holding aggro is mended.
As for Maris, yeah, definitely the worst everdark so far, but I don't hate him either.
Dogs or Libra are next and I'm very curious about both. Dogs because I wonder how can they change what is a very easy fight into something truly challenging, and Libra because he's just really fucking cool.

but the sword is equippable for alll classes. he barely fucking attacks and if he does youre a mile away shooting storm lasers. theres only 1 attack he does that can threaten you and its solved by running for 10 seconds regardless of class
