>>717333757Sims 1 has has a charm to it, it's the one game where the basics are the gameplay, it's quite challenging keeping your sims needs fulfilled while doing a job and engaging in a social life, it makes the early game a battle for basic survival until you get better furniture because its the one game where furni stats have the most noticable impact, until you eventually are able to spend more time socialising than working and fullfilling needs, it's interesting how the gameplay actually evolves over a typical run, work becomes less important and you can consider yourself succeful once you have a lavish home, good money reserves, a family and a good social life, that's where the sims 1 kind of falls off, there's not much to do after that, but getting there is a fun challenge, sometimes I enjoy the simplicity of sims 1 especially with the aesthetics and charm, it is a time capsule of an era we'll never get to experience again, however the sims 2 is definitely my favourite, it retains SOME challenge and the basics are still somewhat important, but you get a lot more freedom and with it, a lot more to do, especially late game since they incorporated family tree and dynasty building.
Both games are fantastic, basically.
