Persona, especially Persona 5. But if that is too close to real life then try SMT instead. You can have hours of fun fusing demons and personas and the gameplay is really fun.

A little bit yeah, but that just means I fit right in. If anything I feel like I'm the biggest autist there, albeit not in an outcast kinda way thankfully, just a dumb nerd. They're super nice guys overall and I've enjoyed playing other games with them too, or seeing one of them play a game I love like DQ or Wizardry.

People in other lobbies don't talk a whole lot and it's like pulling teeth to get them to talk, whereas the /v/ lobbies people will talk the whole time with the topic changing overtime naturally. I think I've had a good time in maybe two or three instances outside of playing with /v/ in webfishing. Maybe I'm just a sperg too, let's not rule that out.

I don't think so; people are oftentimes like that unfortunately. Just best to move on when that's the case and find some people more eager to talk.

Comfort games are usually stuff I've played before that isn't mechanically complex. The FF1 GBA Remake, you can grind battles by just walking around holding down the A button. Old Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes I liked, like The Final Sacrifice or Mitchell. If I'm really looking to just burn days away until something comes up, I'll find some Minecraft modpack or play something like Dort Fort/ Rimworld/ Ostranauts.

Yeah, you might be right. I just find myself joining for a few minutes, seeing no one talking at all, and leaving at this point if it's a non /v/ lobby. It's just really weird to me because I was under the impression that people liked webfishing as a social game specifically, but maybe that's not actually the case for most people.
