He ate the shipment of carrots causing his company to go bankrupt, then as a result of that got sent to the planet his coworker had just escaped from to recoup the losses. There he actually did his but due to being a lazy uncaring cunt missed Olimar leaving the planet, though I guess Olimar can be blamed for that. He spent his time eating any and all wildlife he could until he got captured by the final boss which Olimar saves him from.

Then come the events of 3, Louie gets captured by the protagonists. He has no idea what is going on and they tied him up (rightfully) accusing him of having eaten their food. Louie doesn't know these people and given his current predicament, as soon as he gets a chance he escapes and steals their food, because why wouldn't he, he has no idea what they have in mind for him.

Then comes 4 where hes just an evil psychopath trying to kill everyone

1 and 2 are great in their own, very different ways, both nailing their atmosphere and gameplay.
I don't actually remember much of 3 so I guess it was okay.
4 was dogshit that went out of its way to desecrate 1 and 2 with horrible retcons while also destroying the gameplay with the faggot dog abomination.
