Say what you want about Capcom, but SF6 characters are way more interesting than your average Tekken character.
Gameplay wise they both are trash.

Miary looks like she has DOA generic sameface, and nothing about her shown yet has anything worth getting excited about. Ingrid could be interesting and at least her look is unique.

i like the naive and pure nature of tekken characters though

I'm not sure I want to pay more fucking for fighting game characters.
I'm done. I'm out of the genre completely.
Paying for new versions after a few years was way more economical.
