What should be the extent of free speech in gaming?
Obivously genuine threats and doxxing is not allowed, but how about hate speech?
Should you be able to call your opponents niggers, kikes, faggots and trannies?

Everybody else in the lobby can call me a faggot too if they like, it will not affect my enjoyment of the game.

Would you actually want to be called a faggot?
Forget the game, would strangers calling you a faggot enhance your enjoyment of strangers?

people's willingness to buy a product should be the only thing governing speech. If nobody bought your shit you went to far.

>extent of free speech
There is only one "extent" of free speech, which is absolute freedom of speech. Anything less is some form of restricted speech. The question you mean to ask is "Where should speech be restricted in gaming?" Not free speech. Just speech, because the "free" was lost by drawing a line.
