that's completely and utterly false
your army can be easily rebuilt, and your companions can be picked back up
the most important progression is your own level and renown, and it's impossible to lose those

Victory or Death.

while I am an avid savescummer of taleworld games, I feel the only thing you'd lose that would hurt are the equipped items that are looted off you. everything else you can easily replace and usually do even after bloody victories.

Doesn't Warband start regressing those anyway after a certain amount of time?

You don't even lose all your equipement, I think you just lose one item at random. It's really not that big of a deal outside of some mods with extremely rare legendary items.

I don't think you can lose experience. You do start losing renown after some time, but it's incredibly slow and just based on your current renown, unrelated to your loses, I believe.
