It's a remake. Falcom won't do any of that square hidden sequel multiverse bullshit like in FF7R. There is no reason for that, since this kiseki universe is pretty simple (yet we still don't know shit about it).

It's a fucking remake, Falcom is way too broke to pull a stunt and too desperate to bring new players to their dying franchise
