What was the best NIS game and why was it Disgaea 4?

Best cast, best postgame; and they hadn't ruined the star element yet, and they didn't ruin the celestial host class yet by giving her iconic move to some ugly twink (like in Disgaea 5)

Only complaint is how evilities were still pretty limited by only having one common one, and some were just objectively better than 98% of the others; and the chara world was extremely repetitive.
That and the final boss was kinda lame...also no female martial artist class....

I think 2 and 5 are better.
2 had an item world less broken than 1, but not as boring as later games.
5's lets you do so much builds you wanted in 3 & 4 but you couldn't, and is still my favorite.
I also think 3 Vita is better than every version of 4 by coming with all the content, super long magichanges, easy access to class world and the added story arc to try to save the plot for people that didn't understood the main point of Mao's quest (they did carry the plot terribly with all that filler).

Not him but 7 is a return to form after the wasted pain that was 6, but it feels like we're back at D2 where they have no idea what to do to make it better in 3D. It is a good game, but rough around the edges and too Japanese. Easily the second worst Disgaea final boss by a long shot too, final battle theme not withstanding

How do you handle this situation?

Does anybody have a quick guide for endgame in D7 by chance? I am trying it out again after stopping in postgame but I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do after the Postlude thing, so I'm just fighting missions with a clump of enemies at the moment.
