It has a cast of 8 or 12 characters, they all play the same. The character design is generally bad, see Shanoa's new redesign. The story is whatever. I don't know if it has broken characters or not because the game is quite boring. The music is good, it had an online mode. The game sold less than 2000 copies in Japan and possibly the same worldwide. The next game Koiji Igarashi made was Castlevania Harmony of Despair the multiplayer oriented loot game for Xbox then PS3. He then left Konami. Judgment is not a game I would even consider a black sheep or a curiosity, it's just a sleep inducing waste of your time. The characters feel so similar there's hardly any point in playing it, it has no actual depth or storyline so what's left is multiplayer.

I think it's a fine design. It's a downgrade of her original look, but it's not bad in its own right and certainly not one of the worst.
Maria, on the other hand is basically a case of everything going wrong.
We can all agree that Cornell had the best redesign by a mile.
>the little girl's story mode is she's upset that she's flat-chested while all the adult women have big boobs and replies that breasts are a sacred gift to Sophia's complaining about her own knockers

I was a Castlevania fan growing up. It was my favorite series, I bought every game, and hosted a "shrine" in the early 2000s. This game was the point where I gave up on the series entirely.
