Sex SEEMS way less harmful than violence, most civilized people aren't just going to engage in random acts of violence like they would sex, because sex has less aggressive ramifications. It's a very simple thing, violence leads to jail time and other obvious detractors, but sex doesn't, even though it can, and will, harm you if you're not careful.
