i don't know if you've played WoW lately, but spec rotations are disgustingly bloated and unfun because there's a dozen conditionals you have to fulfill in order to do decent damage, and even then, you're just going to get outdamaged by whatever spec some retard blizz developer is playing the most. as cringe as it appears on the surface, single-button assistant solves a lot of problems the devs just refuse to fix in their arrogance. i haven't played WoW since the first tier of TWW, for reference.

It's like a one button rotation macro but official and built in to the client. it has a slower GCD than manual casting so it can't come close to actually playing the game if you have a decent idea of what you're doing but a lot of shitters are finding out that their DPS goes up if they use it instead of trying to play the game themselves.

One button is really good. From the outside people here will make fun of it for mobile gameplay or something but in reality it's just closer to vanilla. Turns the game away from being an esport and closer to Vanilla.

RuneScape 3 has a combat mode called "revolution" where you set up an ability bar and it will automatically just use the leftmost ability that is off cooldown and you have the necessary adrenaline for. DPS is far lower than manually using abilities but it lets the plebs play most content if they use a good bar.

the point is that the character is part of the raid. theres 40 abilities going out at once. it was never meant to be interesting on individual level. like just getting 40 retards to zone in at the right time, stick around for few hours and then not go crazy over loot distribution is the real challenge. why would anyone want combat minigame on top of that?

I hate rotation style combat in MMO's anyway, wow was at its best when damage abilities were straightforward and most class abilities were designed more around situation and utility, not like im ever going to play this shit genre ever again so if you like this bullshit piano recital gameplay then good for you.

Honestly, I bet most specs could literally have a reverse priority rotation where they hit the worst button available to them at any given time and they'd still out damage half the player base. The single biggest loss of damage for the average player is just time spent doing nothing because they don't know what to do or know how ability queuing works, and the single button rotation solves that because they can just mash 1 button and at least always be doing something.
