Chim, is the word of royalty used to describe apotheosis within the elder scrolls world where one escaped the cycle of rebirth within the god head and becomes the dreamer. Thus becoming a god yet no longer being apart of the universe.

This is based off of Buddhism and it's belief of the world we live in is a place of suffering so ones spiritual being can become strong enough to escape the cycle and ascend into nirvana. This is further reinforced by esoteric parts of the religion as it describes different realms of higher beings. Similar to the deadric realms and Atherius.

Though in the Elder scrolls universe to achive CHIM one instead must do extreme achievement through actions and conflicts, thus is the reason why Tamriel is also called the Arena
