As a new player Upgrading the cafe and doing regular missions is way more important.

Well, the event challnges can actually be pretty... challenging for low levels. It's not like main missions which you can clear 30+ levels below the recommended. It's one of those cases when the recommended level actually gives you a more or less fair estimate of the difficulty. Plus, if it's a gimmicky challenge, you might get blocked, depending on your roster.

Standard insta buff funneling + Hanako unga, not much to worry about on insane. If you have enough damage, you can afford to sack one student towards the end of phase 2 if Hanako gets mind controlled to better align your buffs for the second burst rotation. Otherwise it's smooth sailing.
