Nah. I'll never get people who say Wii U was good content-wise.
Way too many modes recycled from Brawl without enough new (All Star, Multi-man variations, Event mode) while still losing modes like Boss Battle and Subspace.
The "new" parts were worse (Changed Classic mode which now almost always results in Multi-man battles + the old metal and giant modifiers)
Both Master and Crazy Orders were just survival modes reusing the same modifiers as classic mode (like giant and metal enemies) which completely hurt the point of the customization since it pushed you to focus on needing some kind of health regen rather than making various customizations viable.
Trophies had a similar selection as Brawl's since like in Brawl they're mostly model rips with very few original ones and portable models were kept to the 3ds game.
Smash Tour was a flop. Too complex for casuals, too random for more dedicated players.
Stage creator actually worse than Brawl's in some aspects, in spite of being allowed to do free drawings now rather than positioning blocks, since you had less unique objects and unlike Ultimate's stage creator there weren't layers to build backgrounds.
Customization was neat, but most of the time it was just "stronger but slower attacks", "faster but weaker", with very few unique ones that actually referenced the source material. They also completely gave up on them by the time the DLC was coming out, with DLC characters not having custom moves (probably since they knew Ultimate wouldn't have custom moves).
