because okay? Its also okay for every fucking character to give you the same unskipable cutscene because in oot its deep lore about the creation of earth, but in totk its shallow lore about why the character is talking to you (which you can also skip, which proves its bad, unlike the oot cutscenes)
I actually have been doing another botw and totk replay recently and in botw I only upgraded my inventory 5 times, and in totk I am at ganondorf and havent upgraded even once, I throw away more weapons than break so I dont see the need
