He treats symptoms of the problem as the quintessence of the problem and views what is simply misguidedness as voluntary hostility against himself and others like him. He doesn't stop for a second to think, "Hey, wait, the other side are victims of this bullshit just as much if not more than I am!" Women driven to neurotic, paranoid mindsets by feminist jargon, men sapped of all their self esteem and driven to self hatred by transgender theory, grasping at whatever validation they can get. Well meaning people who think everyone on Earth would become an environmentally conscious cosmopolitan, if only we let them flourish with as many resources as they needed.
They're all being duped. And so are all the people on the right. In much the same way. Women on the "trad-wife" bullshit, men who have no self esteem driven to hatred of themselves AND others by incel jargon, and well meaning people who think total global austerity and total deregulation will save the whole world and usher in the society we were always supposed to live in.
It's two sides of the same coin, driven to ever more extreme positions and totally dispossessed of any philosophical competency or commitment to ground truth or effective comprehension of the minds of others.
And all of this is the result of the financial industry and the government backing insane fringe radicals to derail the protest movement against the same financial industry that caused the 2008 financial crisis, by replacing its serious grievances with ones they could bend to without hurting their own bottom line.
There was never any malice in this, just a bloated, mindless beast drowning others and smashing infrastructure to keep its head above water until it made it out of the rapids, instead of inhaling a few gulps and coming ashore to cough them up none the worse for wear in the long run.
