Why does Nintendo hate speedrunners /v/? What exactly would they lose if they just allowed fans to have these fun little events?

I pray for the death of speed runners and Nintendo alike, and hope this stirs up tension between them so they kill each other, preferably before the current batch of trannies kill themselves first.

those "fun little events" have sponsors/advertisers and a shitload of money and staff involved, retard
