I think "mind share" is important. You piss off enough people with lawyers and corpo manipulation, tide shifts where their products stop being bought. That's why all companies eventually die a few years/decades after corruption sets in. You could potentially have situations where they hire someone who hates them, if enough people hate them, and leaks IP. Those are always risks you take by being polarizing in an aggressive and negative way and losing mindshare. Like a lot of teacher's pets that say "well ahhkktuallly" that turn out to be karens as adults get beaten in a dark alley. Is it "legal" what is done to them?
